It fluctuates soooo much. We currently have no heater (it's broken) but I guess new turf is more important. in any case, I have the heater cranked up and the controller set at 80 degrees. It keeps the temperature perfectly stable and without it, I'd be screwed.

I'm looking at lights right now. It's never too early to look! I really like the way this one looks and the fact that it is remote controlled. But I need to read more reviews first. http://www.ledwholesalers.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=702

Yeah, that's the one that I would get for your tank. But, I would get wider optics than 30 degrees.... 60 to 80 would be more ideal, else you will have to hang it practically from the ceiling in order to not burn your corals.

What do you think of this one? http://www.rapidled.com/12-led-par38-bulb-mixed-color-with-uv/ I would go with 80 degrees.

If you can find one with neutral whites, royal blues and a couple UV's, you'd be in there!
It may be good to make your own little unit....

I wish I could find this bulb.

I am looking at this fixture currently. Do you think it would look good on this particular tank? I like the goose neck, that gives me a lot of control over how high the lamp is from the tank. That way I can light acclimate to an extent and can maximize the amount of light my corals get without frying them. Obviously I would get 1 and not 2.

I added an upflow filter, but the pump on it was too small. I'll have to use calculus to determine the minimum gph needed for this tank :)
In reality, I really need to figure something out. This pump hardly fits in the compartment as it is...
I will post pictures later, but it isn't too exciting.
