I wouldn't add a cuc to a system this new. You have a lot more instabilities ahead of you other than the cycle. Being that it is already in there, keep the parameters as stable as possible.

I didn't finish my last statement - agree with Sep
the system being so new (assuming it is) does not have the histiry of stability nor the algae, detritus etc for a cuc - therefore you would have to feed them - so I would not add them right away - HTH - goodnight all

thanks for replys. I did a 20% WC after cycle. Everything did spike, it just came down and i did a WC and those readings above is where its at now.
I have been curious as to why my tanks still crystal clear and i have seen no diatoms or algea.
I have 30lbs of LR and 20lbs LS but my Amm. spiked to 8.0 in 28 hrs. It came down pretty quick and my trites and trates followed but im wondering if i just killed everything on rocks and basically made it like base rock. Tank was started on the 9th of this month.
I can see alot of stuff on the LR i just dont know if its alive. I had alot of green stuff that looked like dried spilt paint but once i started running my lights its turned white EXCEPT where its on the bottom of rocks or in caves , its still green there. Rock does have some purple on it though and that has not changed. I'll try to post pics later
I gota a HQI w/186w of lights but im only running them a total of 8 hrs. Temp ranging from 79 at night to 84 at noon.
