I use a Kent product that is a ph buffer. I add 1 teaspoon to the sump every other day. The ph will rise at night, so be sure and test it in the morning. Check the package and see how much to put in your tank. My lfs who is great told me to put in 1 teaspoon for my 75 gallon and it has worked wonders. Good luck!

There are many products on the market to raise the ph level.
I would go to a LFS and check some out and pick the one that best suits your needs.

i've used proper ph 8.2..i've also used the others (7.5, 7, and 6.5 when i had freshwater) They all work fine. They don't buffer the PH as well as the kent stuff but it does raise the ph to 8.2...just be careful not to do it to quick with this stuff!

Anybody used B-IONIC ? Package of two, solution 1 is for Alkalinity and Solution 2 is for Calcium.
My pH is at steady 8.2 for sometime, but testing it out with this B-IONIC as I gotten this two gallon from a friend. I am using it to grow some good looking algae :D
I think its a rumor, but kinda experimenting (if you will)
