pH is low HELP!

My clownfish just died and I figured out why. All of my levels are perfect except for my pH which has dropped to 7.4. How do I fix this so my other clown doesn't die.
Tank
15 gallon
20 lbs lr
20 lbs ls
1.025 sg
160 gph ph skimming top of the water
81 degrees
just started running carbon last night to clear up the water.
I have some Marine Success Buff that came with one of my test kits. Should I add it to the tank to temporarily fix the problem?

I would go to the lfs and buy some pH buffering. If you dont know what kind just to get just ask the lfs. I would go right this instant!!

My ph is low and my alk is high. I posted another thread for high alk too. Don't know what to do about high alk.

The important thing to do is get your pH adjusted, worry about the alk later, it will continue to come down with water changes. All this tinkering may cause some precipitation (think snow) but do not worry, I think it is onlt harmful to the eye.
