8.4 is a perfect PH level for a saltwater tank. You are good so far!

My pH has been 8.4 since the beginning with no issues. I still find it difficult to keep topping it off with RO water from the store (cant seem to keep enough of it) when I had performed three weeks of 10% water changes with RO water it went down to 8.2. But as it stands, I am at 8.4 until I re-stock up with more store bought water.

OP....I see an airline...does it lead to a bubble bar? If so, you need to take it out.....bubblers are noy for SW tanks
also how old is this tank? Looks new

Yea it was in the beginning but after speaking to a few people here I was advised to take it out of the tank but I just shut it off because I dont have any gloves to take it out. But yea it is fairly new about 5 months now but it didn't look like that like a month ago the clean up crew keeps it sparkling I have 6 hermit crabs and 4 snails
