just did a water change about 5 pm. It is now 10 pm. The ph was 7.8. I added Seabuffer and the ph hasn't changed much. Do you have to add more or wait a day for it to show up higher on the test kit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard those buffers don't really work. Just what I heard, once again, correct me if I'm wrong.

I use Seachem Marine Buffer occasionally and I add it slowly over the course of an hour or two to protect my inverts. Anywhoo, it has always brought the pH up as soon as I've added it.
