I am not a Laker fan by any means what so ever (Go MAVS), but I do think he is the best guy for the job there in LA. Next year I see them getting into either the 7th or 8th spot, but that's about it with the squad they have. They really need to make some moves here in the off season.

Now if they would get rid of Kobe they might have a decent team. I hate the Lakers but I'm hoping Jackson can pull them together just to make Kobe look worse than he already does. At least everybody knows he doesn't run the team anymore.

I am a huge Phil Jackson fan....I used to love the Lakers as well. However I can say that I have a hard time respecting any team that allows a punk like KOBE to run things. I mean almost every coach has said how hard this Kid is to coach. It is obvious he can not play nicely with others.They had one hell of a Dynasty at one time. Just my .02
BTW did I say how much I love the Pacers!!!!

I love Phil too but he's only Phil. No Shaq = no ring IMO

shaq is not a good player, i even thought that when he was with the lakers the only thing he has is weight and height thats about it

I completely agree. Take away his size and shaq is a mediocre player at best.
