do these help against algae problem?i having major algae problem right now red slime,lfs said i am having a phosphate problem i dont know

get a phosphate test kit and test them for your self. As far as red algae, increase flow in any deadspots. Cut back on feedings. just my .02

silicates could also be your problem, keep up on water changes with rodi water and siphon out as much algae as possible. I have a phosban reactor that really helped with my hair algae problem.

I have a phosban reactor and it does a great job. However keep in mind that it is just a band-aid and shouldnt be used a permanant fix. You will need to figure out what is causing the algea problem. As already mentioned, buy a phosphate test kit to determine if your phospates are high before spending money on a reactor.
