Phosphate reactors

Is anyone here using a phosphate reactor? and also has it made a difference in your tank? I am just trying to decide if I want to buy one but don't want to spend the money if it doesn't make a difference. thanks

I am wondering also. This is my next piece of equipment to buy I think. Via Aqua makes a unit that includes a pump also. That is the one I am considering.

i have a phosban reactor on my tank. Excellent piece of equip. I was having a bad algae outbreak due to high phosphates from jacked up water I used when starting tank.
after a few days with it the algae is gone and phosphates are gone.
I have heard that the kent and via aqua units are prone to leaking, though. Might want to look at the two little fishies model instead.

I run one 24/7. I think it makes a big difference. I have zero phos and have yet to have any algae problems.
