My god man! No wonder that worm loved living in your tank. I haven't looked at pics of your tank in a while. I'd forgotten how unbelievably beautiful it is.:D

With over 4000watts of lights alone, do you have a dedicated electrical circuit for this tank/equipment?
I'd blow my circuit breaker for sure with that load.
The utility company loves you.

When I set up my system, the first thing that I did was run 5 new 20 amp circuits over to the fish room area....2 1/2 for lights , 1 1/2 for chiller/heater, and one for pumps/misc.
I wish I knew the secret to carpet keeping...it seems that if you can get them through the first month, then they will probably do just fine. I suspect that they must be extremely susepitable to disease in the acclimation to our systems. I know several reefers who have carpets...they also either lose it in the first month or keep it long term. They're a mystery to me. I just feed mine a scallop every few days and he does just fine. I recently added the red carpet in the photo...and am hoping that this first month goes well.

Cetainly one of the most beautiful and complete set up I have ever seen. Great job!!
Seeing a tank like that brings the excitment back into the hobby. I'm so motivated I'm goign to give my tank(s) a jolt of good fishkeeping by doing a water change and changing filter media. Thanks for the lift!!!!
My emperor is also doing well but does not have quite the same space to roam like yours ....perhaps one day.

Sorry guys....but, I can't find those old pics. I had the emperor since he was small.....and he was a model citizen until he fully changed color.... where upon he became a one fish wrecking crew by deciding to eat clams, lps, sps, small children, cats, dogs, etc. I removed him and gave him to a buddy about two years ago.
