How does every one get larger than 500x500 pictures to post? I cant put any up over 500x500 and I see ones posted that have to be 1000x1000 or so.

thanks. I have wanted to post some larger pics for a while because every time I shrink them to 500w you cant see all the corals when I do half tank shots all you see is "there might be something there".....

i use the web board size, but even if you don't edit it you can link the img, but it will extend the page so people have to scroll to see the whole thing.

I'm okay with scrolling once in a while to get a good image. I'll only go that big for detail shots. the rest of the time I'm not going to bother uploading its too time consuming. I'll just keep most of them small. but for shots like that I love seeing them full size.

hey, question for you...
all of my heaters say they cannot be submerged, how do you safely submerge yours?

I buy the kind that are subersible. I hate the HOB kind of heaters they are too hard to hide if you want to hide them.

for a while trying to show how nice it actually looks but all the small pics you can only pick out the big corals and all the little stuff doesnt show unless you know where to look, even then you could really see it.

I always post monsterpics, it takes some scrolling for those with smaller screens but its hard to catch so much detail with the little pics.
Reno- gotta get some sub heaters, Hide them in the rockwork if needed or behind down in the bottom. Really cleans up the tank. Or just toss them in the sump.

I keep one heater in my display that way if my return pump ever dies the main tank still has heat. I've just been to lazy to hide the heater since moving in to the new house. I stuck it there temporary to work while I was setting up and left it.
one in the sump one in the DT.
Noob: thanks its always a work in progress. you know how it is.

Out of respect for the sites request to post 500 x 500. I normaly only post them that size and also for peeps with slower internets, I try not to do photo overloads. If I have to wait long or scroll, I normally will leave the thread, thats just me and nothing I can do about it. haha. And please only do large one that have some quality for those that do wait em out.
Z, nice.
