Photographers Wanted

I am looking for some photographers to help me test my site. I got the basics working now and want to get some feedback on how easy it is to use. Users that help me test the site will be considered for photo screeners, or forum mods if I decide to add one later.
The site is a photo database dedicated to photos of fish in a tank or in the ocean/lakes/rivers etc.
If you are interested post please here or send me an email or you can just start to use the test and let me know of problems. Email is on the site.

I am still looking for some users to test the site. You can now keep track of your favorite photos in the database.

Glad you like the idea. I hope to get a good collection going. The hardest part is right now, trying to get people to sign up and submit their photos.
When I get more features implemented I plan on having some sort of contest to win camera stuff or gift card to an online fish store to try and get more photos. Any pictures that are already included in the database would be eligible to win the contest.

well i love taking photos so i woulnt mind checking out your site and seeing how it works.
Ditto, but I am not a photographer, and wouldn't be even thinking of being in any contest or becoming a mod. I don't mind helping by trying the site out for you. Pictures, I have plenty of.

The pictures don't need to be perfect. If the pictures are good enough to make it into the database they wont be added, but I wont be doing much of that yet, unless they are really blurry. If you look at the pictures I have added they aren't that great either.

I posted some photos, but didn't realize some were getting rejected b/c of size I just happened to notice the warning off to the left side. I have resized some, but don't want to send all again, how will I know what ones went through?

it will tell you your photo has been placed into the photo queue to be accepted/rejected. For now I will be accepting most photos unless they are really blurry. I am also working on the size limit so it will take any size photo and just resize them for what the site needs.

the ones I sent are just with my point and shoot. the better ones from my collection, there is one good one for every10 I take!

it doesn't look like any of them were uploaded. You can also check to see how many are in the queue by logging into your account and clicking on members. At the top it will say how many are waiting to be accepted.
Looks like the upload form isn't as easy to use as I thought.

That sucks, not sure I want to mess with it again.

what message were you getting after you clicked submit photo and information?
over to the left it says upload JPEG immage, green bar appears as if it it uploading, if you didn't look over to the left you would think it went through as I did last night. my files are saved as JPEG, I resized them. don't know what else to do.

If you were using Internet Explorer I think I found the problem.
When submitting images, IE changes the jpeg image to a pjpeg and it is the only browser that does that. So the script didn't think it was a real jpeg image.
It should work for IE users now, let me know if you have any problems. Again thanks for testing.
And nice pictures.
