the white LED lights are a pure whit i think it looks really good to me gives off the same effect as the moon IMO
i like them i kinda wondered the same thing at first but i bought the white ones and am totally happy with the cool moon effect it gives

What brand do you have? I found some current usa ones for cheap. 14.50 for the main one and 11.50 for each link you hook into the main one. They have 2 leds in each one they have red, white and blue.

I have to agree with Murph on this one. We have white ones on the SW and blue ones on the FW. THe blues look neat, but the white ones look more natural. I built the blue ones from part on the famous auction site. The white ones came in the PC fixture we have.

u know i dont recall what brand i have specifically but i just have 2 - 1 watt white LED lights over the tank and i think it does a good job just gives that lil cast of white light in the tank
