Photos on Forums?

Hi guys,
Wanting to attach photos to my posts, I take the pic with my digicam put it on my comp but it is always about 2mb or so? How can i make it smaller so it can go on here? Do i change the file format? If so how?

You need to edit the picture with some photo editing software (by making it smaller). If you go to CNET downloads and type in photo editing it will pull up a lot of freeware/shareware/trial period software that will accomplish what you need.

I downloaded a couple and I cant find one that will do what i want

set your camera to take photos at 640 by 480 that should work.
My olympus camera came with soft ware that I use.

do what chef said and also make your image quality on your camera normal. I had the same problem when i had my camera set to fine.

There is also a member on the boards here, Kelly (I think??), who created a program called Thumbnailer that he posted a link to download from. I've been using that with no problems.

I use Adobe Photoshop and seems to work fine . Has many customizing features to use ..

I use Microsoft Image Composer to edit all of my shots and it works well!
