Seriously.....I've seldom attempted a "full tank shot" and liked the result.....from that distance its difficult to reproduce what my eye sees...the conditions are just too difficult to photograph accurately. At least thats what I think....maybe I'm too critical........in any case I like closer pics much better.....the detail is improved...color reproduction is much better....maybe its just me.

Wow!! Really!! I wish my tank would look even HALF that good (still a work in progress, always will be). I have a question for you NM, maybe you can help. I've a small ricordea on a really small piece of rock that is constantly being kicked about by crabs, shrimp, snails, etc. Would you have any suggestions for me as to how to keep this more anchored?
Again, I love your photos, and your tank is only one I can dream of ever having!!

Funny you should ask....I just recently got a sweet little zoo frag and it was constantly being blown around....I wedged it into a spot where the current didn't blast it loose and placed a little rubble around it to anchor it better....in time it'll spread to the rubble....instant frags!!!! For now its secure from being blown away....maybe try to wedge your ric in a sheltered area between some larger LR....that;ll help keep 'em in place...maybe.

Yeah, I tried that last night. I thought I had the little guy wedged into a crevasse in my live rock, but tonight when I went to look for him, he was nowhere to be found. I finally found him buried among my rocks!! After some digging and prodding, I finally got him loose. I'm going right now to find a more suitable place for him. Thanks a lot!!!
Well, I've got him in a place that I HOPE will work. I'll let you know tomorrow.

Thanks again NM,
My ricordea has now spent 2 days and 3 nights in the same spot, AND he's looking better than ever!! Can't wait for my new lights to get here (finally) to see how he does under those.

I'm waiting for 2 x 65w daylight, 2 x 65 actininics, and 3/4w (I think) lunars. Can't wait to see if there's going to be any kind of a difference...I was HOPING they'd be here today, but...ppptttsss. I'm getting a little anxious for them.

NM- Eye candy as usual is so much aprreciated. I always look forward to stumbling across your photos. Thank you for sharing the full tank shot. It just goes to show all the individual beauty that makes up the magnificant reef system.

Lisa- Hope you have your lights. That sounds like my set-up (Current USA Dual Satt.).

Ditto for sure to NM...always a treat!!
The lights I'm (still) waiting for are Coral Life...I'm wondering if there's something that I should be looking into to make sure my order is going out ok. I just keep thinking that it's the holiday being stuck in here...I sure hope they're worth the wait and wonder.
