Phototropic Fish

I know that when clown eggs hatch, the babies are phototropic. Some more larvae have been in my refugium for several days, and they've grown to some good sizes but don't seem to be going through metamorphosis. My question is: Will the babies still be attracted to light (as they don't seem to be), and when I catch them, would I rear them the same way as babies caught the night that they hatch?
Much appreciated,

I haven't noticed if they are still attracted to light after metamorphosis so I'm not help.
My question is, are you sure you have Clownfish larvae in your refugium?

I'm pretty sure, I've caught some and I've seen the characteristic silvery eyes. Also, I currently have a Kole tang and two Ocellaris, which are a sexed pair. I don't have any shrimp currnetly, so I'm pretty sure that they're fish. I have two right now in a grow-out tank that I've set up.

I will be very surprised if they are fish. I'm hoping they are though! Is there any chance they are Mysid Shrimp? What behavior are you noticing from them?

Can you tell me how you can tell the difference between the two? The two finally died and we took one of them out and looked at it under a microscope and sure enough you were right, they were mysis shrimp :(. Was hoping they were fish.

Mysid Shrimp zoom around in crazy patterns over surfaces. A Clownfish larvae would do it's best to move slow or hover in one place suspended in the water column until it sees food. When they see food (seafood?) they curl their tail and then dart at the food.
