Yeah but even dead frozen mysis shrimp have to be frozen to stay good food. Why don't these bottles of dead stuff say to refrigerate?? The two products in my original post are Kent brands.
I have the Kent phyto as well. I think there is no instructions to refrigerate because the Kent products are loaded with preservatives
ps- one reason live pyto/zoo has a short shelf life is due to the fact that the stuff is a mixture of different organisms to create a balanced nutrition load. The longer the mix sits, the more time the organisms that reproduce quicker have to crowd out the other organisms. This leads to a phyto/zoo mix that has a very high content of one nutrient and a lack of all the others. Bacteria and rotifers tend to eventually take over the mixtures as well.
