your tank looks good.
In the skimmer department...look into an Aqua-C or Etss skimmer, these both use the water injection..to make bubbles and are very, very efficent...They cost a lil bit but are worth every penny..Also when buying a skimmer....you want one that turns the amout of water in your tank over 4-5 times an hour...(me I have a 55 gal tank so I need a skimmer that does 200-250 gph(gal per hour). Just depending on how much live rock you have .Water vs. rock Seeing how the rock takes up water space.
With your water getting turn 4- 5 times an hour it will be super clear! and this also cut down on on any problem alge.

Euro-reef, ETSS, Aqua-C, MRC...all good in sump skimmers.
