I'm sure you already knew this but you need to get that hippo tang outa there. As far as corals look into mushrooms/colt/xenia/frogspawn/hammer/candycane any of those will add color

actuly i didnt think the hippo tang would be a problem becouse i never see him nibbling the rocks he only eats the brin shrimp. but in the future if i see him hurting the rocks im going to need to get rid of it.

and that red crab needs accsess to the air or he wont live very long. he seems to be a fidller crab.. so make the water level in ur tank lower and make a rock peeking out of the water for him to get air..

the blue hippo tang should be in a 75G minimum tank he will grow to be at least 6-8 inches long. They are also herbivores so the need greens to live and grow dried seaweed/emerald entree frozen food/ anything basically that says herbivores. Not trying to flame you but even though the Blue Hippo (Regal) Tang is small now he will grow very large. Good luck with everything. (if you have the option to take him back i would do so very soon for a smaller fish)

also in the first pic those little anemones are aptasia and they are a pest so kill them asap with Joes Juice/Lemon juice/Boiling water in a needle.

can you post your chemical specs?
having that many fish in such a small tank will result in high nitrates

I wouldnt say that 6 fish si too much for a 24 gallon, although some woudl disagree with me andits debatable both ways...But 5 fish INCLUDING A HIPPO TANG....Most DEFINETLY not.

Get the urchan out now. or you will spend the next 6 months picking up black pins. They move alot, and break the pins when they cant get around rock work. And yes the blue tang needs to go. I give you one week until it gets ich. And if it lives 16 weeks until it is to big for the tank, and it picks at your rocks and coral. in a nano a good rule is no fish over 3" adult, and 2-3" per 5 gal. just a rule of thumb. you could keep 1 large frog fish, 6" and it might be fine, as there are always an exception to the rule, but in your tank this is not the case. trust me, i am on my second 24g dx as my 2004 is RIP BUSTED!!

MEENTEEN! you need to go to your LFS and ask for some Joes Juice! The box comes with a liquid and a surenge. Take the surenge suck some juice and stick it right in front of ALL the aptasia and squirt just a little in its mouth, it will instantly dissolve. It might take a few times to get them all. I would also get 1 Peppermint shrimp to take care of the small ones. But!! before you buy zoo's and polyps take the shrimp back to the store, and replace him with a cleaner shrimp you need about 10 snails and some crabs. Also get you a Mag Float for your tanks walls and clean them off. you may need to use a razor to get the thick green off the walls. Cut down on your lights usage to cut down on the alge. KENT makes a alge control liquid you can get if you can't keep your lights off. Also check you water ALOT with that many fish, you can do it yourself but i would recomend getting your LFS to do it one a week. Good Luck!!
