Please please please feed it more than brine shrimp! It is bad to have in the tank for a long time, but you won't have to worry about having it long if you only feed it brine. A really bad choice of food...very very limited diet!
What do you feed your brittlestar?

I agree with everyone about the hippo, and especially with ophirua about the brine shrimp. This should only be used as a treat for your fish, and even then, I would not use it more than a few times a month if you must.
I also really like Joe's Juice to get rid of aipstasia. This product works extremely well.

Clowns, gobies, blennies, basslets, pseudos, firefish, fairy wrasses, and some species of cardinals are all fine in a smaller tank.
Stay away from tangs, puffers, angels, butterflies, wrasses, triggers, groupers and other large fish.

umm i would say get rid of the tang. and the damsel if u can. 4 fish is plenty for a 24 gal. and that urchin will get huge. and should be in a tank 6 monthes established.

i wouldn't in a reef tank and don't put shrimps with it. also thanks for starting over. tank will be a lot better and the hippo will be happier
