pic size is smaller then it is.. please help me.

hello
my problem is just as stated, when i post a pic here such as this one
it comes up soooo small even though the dimesions are 420 bt 240. i dont get it the next size up dosent fit but i see these pics that are like 6 inches by 5 inches. i use p photobucket

you're not using photobucket if you're using the manage attachments on the bottom.
to use photobucket upload the pic. then hit the "edit" above it and resize it to the forum size. then copy the IMG hyperlink onto the message. this though won't make the required pic size
what you're doing is having swf upload the pic directly from your computer. if you want to get a 500x500 pic you have to crop it and resize it from a jpg editor program on your computer.

Try http://imageshack.us/ It has a photo size option.
Like this--

Once you go to imageshack you will see a browse button to browse to the file you want.Then below the browse button check the image size box then select the size of the photo you want to display.
(The photo above is 800x600)
Then hit the "Host it" button. Then you will be taken to another page. If you want it to be displayed directly on your forum post,highlight and copy(control+c key)the link for- "Hotlink for forums" -and paste it to your forum post(control+v key). Whamo your photo magically appears.

There is a email option under the browse button. I just ignore it and it still works
