It's a 54g. corner tank. My camera sucks so you can't see very much detail. I need to do a serious light upgrade so I can get better stuff than the shrooms and button polyps. There is a green brain in there, but the tank was previously leased to a business and they didn't maintain it very well. The brain has been over run by shrooms. I did well under those lights though, so I am considering getting another one.

First i would like to say that that tank is absoulutly amazing i really like it iwant to set up a reef like that with just a lot of lr some shrooms maybbe a carpet anenome and a purple lobster wat kind of light do u have on ure i like the tint it had. I have 1 20 watt 10K bulb and 1 20 watt actinic. Horrible lighting, but that's what I have to work with right now!
I purchased this tank from my LFS. It was a complete setup they had leased to a business. The business decided after 4 years to not renew the lease. I got a great deal on it. When the LFS moved the tank, everything got unsettled and the water parameters cratered. I have gotten it back to a good point now. I lost 8 snails and I starfish during that time, but no fish! I am going to let the tank settle for another month or so then add some fire shrimp and another green brain.
As far as filtration, I have what it came with....a trickle filter in the sump and a protein skimmer. Both are homemade by an acrylic guy the LFS used to have do a lot of their work. I am not sure what kind of sand it is. There is about 2 inches of it, by my Clarkii clown digs in it so much that he makes craters all the way down to the tank floor - this creates the 4 inch high mounds you see near the front! I think he wants an anemone! I have pretty well given up on smoothing out the hills in the sand. It only takes him about an hour to screw it up again!
