picasso clowns

do they need speacial requirements that differ from other clowns? and is 99.00 a good price? (this sight sells them for that much) o and i have seen miss match pairs of clowns like gold stripe maroon with white stripe do u think i could get one picasso and one perc/false perc and pair them?

No special requirements - they are simply color variants. The price simply depends on what you want to pay for them. I have seen them for $200+ each and as low as $50 each depending on the markings. As to the pairing, again, that is up to you.

I am not sure if it is okay to post this but I am going to do it anyway....
ORA has aquacultured the Picasso clowns. You can look on their website for the number for hobbyists to call and they will tell you local stores that sell the picasso clown... I just found out that my favorite LFS is getting a shipment in tommorrow.... I would go get one if I had my QT set up.
Not sure how much they cost, but I would think that $100 is a bit much seeing as how they can aquaculture them now...

they sell them on here for $99. They are going to be around that much at any place that sells them. I bought a pair at my LFS a couple months ago for $260 and they weren't nearly as nice as the ones I bought from SWF.com. I believe it was Viper (moderator) who said that they are becoming a little more common and we should start seeing them around more often.

Probably, since I have never heard about "wild" picasso clowns, but I didn't think SWF.com was selling the $99 picasso as aquacultured but I didnt look

Just do a google search for ORA and the website should come up....

$100 is a good deal. When ORA ships to LFS the prices are a lot higher. We purchased ours from SWF.com at first it was wishlisted and we added our name to the email list and the next night we were contacted that they were in. We immediately put our order in and received our picasso the next day. The only way that a LFS would have a Picasso that isn't from ORA is if it is from the wild which is extremely rare. ORA is currently the only place successfully breeding them.
