The day before yesterday, my 2" picasso trigger started to throw himself against the rocks and filter. Right side ONLY. I've watched him and his tankmates, (a dogface puffer and niger trigger) and they're both fine, NO signs of ich on any fish, Picasso included. I called my LFS and he advised that it could be a parasite and he gave me LifeBearer to start treatment? Would you recommend this? (i also contemplated maybe he had something stuck to him, a piece of rock, but he looks fine, normal.)
He's acting like he always does, has an appetite like a horse and I see no other problems in the tank whatsoever. I have crushed coral, no inverts. PH is 8.2. Water conditions are 0. I'm watching him closely, but is there anything I can do to narrow this down or maybe prevent something from spreading, whatever it is? I just don't just want to sit around and wait it out, it's frustrating to see him do this.
Stupid question, but could he be allergic to something? I see him do this like crazy right after feeding... on his right side only...
Thanks for any advice given. Greatly appreciated.
