pickling lime for kalk?

i know i read about it in this forum but cannot find it. has anyone used pickling lime and how?

It's the same thing and you use it the same way. And it doesn't cost as much.

Mrs. Sages Pickling Lime...It's at the grocery store. I use to kill aptasia, but it can also be used as a kalkwasser drip.

I use Mrs. Wage's Pickling lime -- misspelled in the above post but its the same thing cheaper, and I use a few scoops (tablespoon or two) per 5 gallons of top off water... I use a 2 part every day as well but just cheap extra boost from the pickling lime.
