welcome to swf.com! ppl here give lots of great advice and i dont know where my tanks would be without them. id like to see a close up of your scooter blenny. i think some ppl here may disagree though with your choice of fish but just try to listen to advice that others give

ps: i also have a 3 gallon! just set it up a little while ago....it will be all inverts and coral (i just started a journal on it...you should check it out)

Does it eat prepared food for you? I have read that they are easier to get to eat prepared food than Mandarins when there isn't a substantial amount of live rock to produce the copepods they eat.

dragonets NEED LOTS of pods even if they eat frozen, my dragonets all ate prepared, but to satisfy their diet they need LOTS of pods. i've already told this person several stuff on a different board, so im not going to repeat my words, but i liek to clear up things about dragonets.

That's what I figured. Trying to subtly say that there wasn't even near enough live rock without sounding like, in the words of gharner, a "fish activist"
Just read that they were easier to get to eat it, not that it would be the only part of their diet.
