Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Aragonite Reef Sand

duh i know which is better.......the acual live sand...........but its $25 and the others are $7 and remember i going for a 2.5 and i don't really need all of the 10lb (what am i going to do with the other 8lb) and it'll turn into ls eventully.
will the first one be okay or wll it give me nitrate problems.....
or do i just suck it up and pay the $25 for the good stuff?

thinking of adding some leathers like
cabbage or a devil's hand
if they fit, i'll try to get fraggs of these and when they start to get to big i'll return them or give them to my one of my teachers (they have nice reefs)
