haha! i had a 12 gallon for like a week didnt even get to put fish in it and i upgraded to a 30. had that up for less than a year and now im into a 90 gallon. its a reef and doing well. the nanos concern me because the amount of water is so small it seems they have to be watched constantly.

My little 12 gallon nano was the third sw tank in my home....first two were much bigger. I expected the nano to be more difficult, but honestly it's probably turned out to be the most trouble free tank of the group

I've seen some beautiful ones set up and I agree on limiting... but when I add a dab of this and dab of that with out EXACT measurements in 100g of water volume it's not that big of a deal like 3 gallons.

i have a ten gallon and its the easiest saltwater ive had. i started with a 75 then a 55 now i have a 10 and the ten is the easiest. i knew someone with a picatope 3gal and they said the hardest thing was keeping the salinity in check and the evap. but ive also seen some successfull ones but the smallest i would go is a ten.
