pics : Blacklight + tank = cool

lol yea i really was bored and trying to think of what lighting i want and what would look cool.
needless to say i remembered i have a black light. i knew the glow in the dark ornaments would light up, but i did not expect the coraline algae to as well.. looks pretty cool. Anyone think the glow in the dark ornaments are gonna make the fish (when i eventually get some) mad or screw em up at all? I think it kind of makes for a slighter transition into complete darkness. but what do i know? im a noob!

Are those glow in the dark ornaments safe for saltwater? IMO i would take them out.

Black light emits UV which isn't good for fish and corals over time. The plastic things are probably fine though.

you need some glow in the dark eyeballs peeking out of the rock

yea it kinda looks like that in the bottom pic with the green plant glowing behind those rocks

Yeah, I agree. I would take them off as well. Bang Guy did an experiment on this not too long ago.
