can i hear what you do weekly to keep up with caring for your corals?

Very nice tank, I have the same lighting system. From the looks of it you are satisfied with it
Have you run the same fixture since the tank was started?

nice. Though, I like the look of 14k MH's better then 10k's, but there's better growth with 10k's.
Nice tank. What's your parameters? Tips, secrets, etc?

wow thanx for the kind words, they are 250 watt m.h 10k,just got the light, the 150 mh i had wasnt enough for good sps color, for sps you need alot of flow and light,i run 2 tunze 6000 streams, tunze skimmer rated for 500 gallons, atinic and m.h light ,20 % water change w r.o and crystal sea every 2 weeks, ive only been in this hobby a year, but its been like 10 hours a day non stop reading and research, lfs says i know as much as some with 10 years exp. lol,i also have a 46 fowlr, a 24 softie, and 3 gallon pico, they look awesome too,you want pics of them too?,anyway thanx guys!!

very nice tank. any reason that you use glass tops? do you have heat or pH issues with using them?

Your aquarium is really beautiful but those Tunze pumps are really visible! Can you move them to the back corners and get the flow you need? The tank is really nice and its a shame to block the view.

amazing tank. I bet the colors in your tank really pop under just the actinic lights.

the glass tops would affect gass exchange between the room and the display tank. since CO2 is more soluble in water than O2, you might in theory see lower pH with the system that closed off. if you don't have pH problems, than don't worry about it. i was just curious.

thanx e-body, the ph is a tad low 7.8 to 8.1 ,the tunzes dont swivel 100% so they cant go on back wall and shoot across the tank, plus i have the pump returns in the corners from the overflow boxes with the reef ready tank, even in the tanks in the magazines you still see the tunzes, unfortunatley they are hard to hide
