Well I have had this red sea max up for a few months now(cant really remember when started) so I thought I would post some pics of it for everyone to see!
From the beggining:

Now:we have had to rearrange rock in order to catch our first fish..the 3 striped damsel aka the devil

If anyone could I.D these polyps for me it would be great!

Clownfish has some spots due to it trying to host flowerpot coral

Other stock:
lots of turbo snails
red and blue leg hermits
coral banded shrimp
2 brittle starfish
1 sand sifting starfish
3 emerald crabs(one is about 2 inches across)
featherduster
Green BTA

Look like some kind of clam as well.. leave them in,, harmless filter feeders,, Also you have both a blennie and Madarin,, Pods make up the majority of their diet especially the Mandarin, you really need a very mature tank with refugium and much more mature live rock, And lat but not least flower pots dont do well in the home aquarium, It is said that synthetic salt lacks something in it that it cannot replicate.. Good Luck,,

About ther mandarin and blenny: we just stuck about 750 pods in their and hopefully they will start to reproduce. The black spot on the clown are most likely not black ick because it has been beating the crap out of the flowerpot trying to host in it,so im guessing that it has just been stung a few times. I have seen both clows actually try and get into it , but it usually retracts because its not use to it yet. I know that they do not do well in home aquariums but hopefully it will at least live a little while. My dad was the one that actually bought it and stuck it in there.

the 750 pods wont be enough in the 34 red max. if u want at least 1 (either mandarin or blenny) to hv a chance of surviving, u will need to get rid of 1 if not both. the blenny will probably hv a higher chance of survival even if pods r insufficient. i'd say ur mandarin will live another 2-3 weeks max in the tank, unless he eats frozen food which is highly unlikely.

i have seen him the the premium 1 cubes that we stick in the for the shrimp and starfish. would setting up a 2.5 gallon culture tank produce enough to constantly add into our 34 g?

i hate to have another negative comment, but i have a red sea max, and i have had alot of troubles with it as far as not sufficent enough filtration, the protein skimmer sucks, and the filter media always clogs and the spillover dosent keep up with the return pumps, so the return pumps start sucking air and shoot LOTS of tiny microbubbles in the tank, what i had to do was get an Eheim Ecco and use a secondary canister filter, and im thinking about doing a fuge with a remora skimmer or at least something that will do better than the crap one that came with the red sea...
sorry just my experience
in my opinion it wasnt with the money
if i could do it again i would have done fine media cnages everyother day and water changes every week
good luck

unless u constantly buy lots of copepods, then 1 will hv a chance of surviving. keeping 2 pod eaters in a 34 gallon is very hard.

the good thing about this for me is that i did not buy the tank because its not mine. its really my dads but i basically take care of the thing. if we were to only keep 1 of them it would definately be the mandarin because hes so cool. if thats what it comes down to then thats fine, but hopefully i will not. Still wondering if anyone could id my corals though.

Candy Cane coral Caulastrea furcata for the one you called a trumpet, the zoanthids look to be mean greens, and eye of fire.
And I would seriously look into black ich for that ocellaris. IMO its not stings from the coral.
