We have PC's also. You only need MH if you plan to get mostly stony corals like acroporas. You can get soft corals and mushrooms and be fine with compacts. Honestly though I'm always envious of the shimmering in the tanks I see with MHs. My future tank will have MHs, for now I've put enough money into this tank and decided to stick with the low-medium light corals.

I lived in Oahu, across from Farington High until I was 8 then my parents decided to come to the mainland. I've gone back a few times, but not ecough!!! Since I've gotten into this hobby, I wan to go back to see the real reefs!! :happyfish :happyfish :happyfish
