Like the title says: Has anyone ordered an ORA Green Stylophora from SWF.com and would like to share some pics?
I am trying to put together a coral order and the pic on their website looks good but I am curious on how close it represents the actual corals they ship.

Here is a pic of mine, I've had it about 2 years now(maybe a yr and a half, I really don't remember), was grown from a small frag. It is in the lower right bottom of the pic.

Here is a shot from when I first got it.
Hope that helps you.

Thanks for the pics!!! I'm wanting to get some SPS with good color (tired of seeing brown coral) and SWF's selection or least the pics make it a pretty short list. This one looks good though.

Sure thing, it is a nice piece, a little nicer in person(my camer skills are crap), it grows pretty fast, developing new knobs all the time. I have fragged it a couple of times recently, I'm anxious to see if it changes the growth pattern or if the knob will just come back. I may have to do something soon about mine the Monti cap above it grows out of control and it soon will shade all the light it is getting now, it is still growing though even in the shady areas. I'll just hack the Cap up like I always do, that thing is tough, definitely one of my most dominant corals. Good luck with yours when you get it.

off topic...
hey trippkid, are you just placing acro frags on top of the monti caps shelf?
obviously it affects the monti in that area, but I kind of like the idea. It opens up more real estate for acro growth.
How long have you been doing that? Any acros that have grown out that way?

Yep, until I can upgrade to a 240, hopefully soon(I probably still will have some like that, I like it too, if you think about nature, broken chunks grow from where they end up, whether on a rock or another coral). Yes the Monti's will die or go into remission is more like it for most of the caps(you know how tough they are). That dark green one though is a very tough one, it can kill the Acro's. I have to keep it in check so it doesn't do my sticks harm. I have some Acro's perched on other ones with no problems( a Leng sy and a Purple Cap), the Monti just either doesn't grow there or grows in a different direction. The only real thing is making sure the Monti doesn't over grow the Acro, when they are frags this is more likely to happen(the Monti's just grow too quickly sometimes). I have had some like that for some time now, I'd say my longest, the yellow/green Acropora Butani has been there for about a year now, that one is on a frag disc, so it has kept the Green Monti from killing it. Just be careful and experiment a little first I guess. I love all my SPS, but the caps are getting out of control. I just hacked, about 2/3 of it, up an orange one I've had for about 3 years, They just take up too much room, and me being a dumb a , putting them up at the top. Live and learn, when I upgrade I will try to do a little better with the layout of things. Have a good one Gator.
