I do not have any live rock or corals in this tank.
As for the weekly water changes, I think 20% once a month is not enough.
I used to do it every month but I found that not only can I keep much lower nitrates with weeky changes, the fish seem to be healthier and happier.
I can do the entire water change in 1 hour, so its not bad. I celan my filters once a month.
