I got the candy cane just this weekend. I plan on moving it to where the green ricordia is at the end of the week.
I'm currently dosing it with Kent Calcium, Iodine, and once a week with kalk. The light's stay on for about 12-14hrs a day with the actnic's gonig on and offf 1 hr before and after the 10000k.
I will also be getting a Hang on skimmer so that there is more tank space soon.
Full resolution of the pic's here in the "fish Other" folder :)
Let me know what you all think !

Awsome pics. One thing though. Next time could you make them a little smaller so we can see the whole thing at once.

Thank's !
I'm using a JBJ lighting's 2X65W. One being a Actnic 03 and one a 10000k. i still say it look's "OK", need more coraline and less diatom's/hair algae ! Oh well, i guess patience is the key :)

Sorry. Will try making it smaller next time or splitting it up in many post's. I actualy did reduce the resolution of the pic's from 2048X1536 to 800X600. I'll put it lower though :)

If this tank has truly only been up for 5 months I don't know why you are complaining about the corraline growth. I see a lot of purple in those pictures. You are talking about patience but you said all of that livestock has been added in a month? Don't take this the wrong way, it looks great but you may want to slow down. If you keep adding at that pace you will be in a world of trouble in my opinion. What is all in your tank? Is this 2 tanks?

Well, not really added everything at once.
This is what my live stock has been for the past few month's :
Snail's/Crabs.
This is what i ordered from SWF.com :
few certhil's, tomato, feather duster's, scooter blenny, and ricordia's.
I then added the shrimp about 3 week's later, and this weekend the candy cane.
I don't plan on adding anything to the tank for the next 2-3 month's. Might just add a few crab's or snail's at the max.
Ah, i know there is some coraline algae, but there is more of hair and diatom's than what I would like.
Edit : Also, since i am setting up another 20G tank, some of the thing's from this tank will go in there :)

I agree that the pics are very nice...looks like you've established a sweet 'lil system. Thanks for the peek...I always enjoy looking at ya'alls systems and inhabitants.
The size issue though can be addressed and allows easier viewing ... maybe the recent addition of the "photography" forum will eventually address these issues. Just for the sake of providing an example I've saved and re-sized your full view pic and posted it below...still provides basically the same shot...but smaller and less space used on the site.

Nice tank. Have you got that scooter blenny eating any store bought food. Your tank isn't big enough for him to live off of the pods. For what it's worth (if not) mine is partial to blood worms, I have no idea why, may the way they float along the bottom makes him think they're alive.

Thank's, but since i'm not really attaching the pics on this site, i'm not utilizing the board's server space nor bandwith ;) If i do reduce them too small, I feel it reduces the way it look's :D
But I will try to keep it smaller though.

He does eat brine shrimp dipped in garlic at time's. I've also given it aquadine's spirulina, but it does not eat those. I'll try the worm's;)
