And ZOO I meant how you comprehended as well but I initially meant to say that won't the tang truly only to be able and grow in size accoridng to the size of it's surroundings.. and of course in the process of growing bigger would take much longer as opposed to having it's current size of 3" just shoot up when in a bigger tank,...... Or you can be brutally harsh and say I am talking out of my Arse :)

Just wanted to say THANKS TO ALL OF YOU again, but unfortuneately i got hit up with ICK,ICH however you want to spell it but I got it in the tank..Not happy at all considering so early in the game with all parameters in check.....Seems to be my tang it's affecting the most not surprising considering they are very delicate to just about anything..... Going to try kick ick or stop parasite seeing that I don't have a qt or any other time or means of treating it... wish me luck folks... this f-in sucks....shite

kick ich and the other will kill your anemones lr and ls they are not reef safe. You got ich in your tank due to stress from so many fish in that little tank in a short amount of time.. I disagree about the fish will grow to their surroundings.. This doesnt seem to be true w/ SW.. FW it is somewhat true but salt it is not.. good luck w/ the ich.. get selcon and garlic extreme to boost their immune system... do some research on this site about treating ich or you will kill everything!

yeah dont use any medications cuz they usually contain copper which is BAD for a reef tank!
like mentioned it will kill all ur LR and sand and ur anemone and any other inverts
tangs r prone to ick id either A. get rid of the tang they always have it... B try Garlic in the food. C. get a UV filter for future use
all in all the tangs a hard fish to keep healthy mine battles a lil bit of ick now and then and i have no idea y and none of my other fish ever get it he just gets a few dots here and there but they go away and come back

Yeah been doing more reading on here considering I am currently at work so I have the time ;) ..... Garlic with the food seems to be a good approach as opposed to jumping on the medication bandwagon....
Murph...what do you reccomend for feedings to my list below and how often? Again let me stress...this Shite blows....I kind of miss tuning cars now....lol
List of fish and inverts
blue tang (hippo)
percula
royal gramma
bi-color angel
mandarin (more than likely feeds of of rocks)..
BTA
LTA
coral banded shrimp
I plan to use fresh garlic and pretty much mince it and let it soak for 20 minutes before dropping it in... I am anxious to get back home and try to help out the possee.. Ahh also to mention I do have a uv running inline already with the setup.
Tank temp: ranges between 75-78.5 degrees between temps in the day and night.

hey there well heres what i would say to add to your food regimene
brine shrimp (regular and fortified)
mysid shrimp (these have alot more nutritional value that brine)
Formula 1 and 2 once in a while to help maintain color and health
and also put some dried seaweed in the tank on a clip your tang will love it and they need it to remain healthy and lesses the chance of head and lateral line erosion...
feeding is a keyt u cant feed all the criters the same thing becuz angels eat different foods compared to tangs compared to your royal gramma each needs something else but if u feed a mixture of these things on different days u should be fine...
remember dont over feed either

yeah tell me about this hobby ive been in it 3 years now and it has its up and downs but once u start finding great info and help on sites like these it makes everything alot easier and saves lots of mistakes
i once used a copper based medication in my tank to treat ick and it wiped out all my LR the fish store told me it would be fine they will tell u anything to make a sale
good luck
oh and for your anemones u can buy a lil frozen brick of squid then feed them a lil chunk the size of a nickel and they will be happy with that once a week or so
