That reminds me of my 55! My xenia got that bad for a while there too...it's actually too bad. I hate it because it takes up so much prime real estate. I put small pieces of rock rubble inside of it, then when it spreads, I take them to the pet store and get a little credit. Some people can't get it to grow! Amazing huh?
p.s. It's a notorious bad shipper in the coral world.

hi how are you,,, i have two yellow tangs in there and a blue hippo,, they all get along really well,, i bought the two yellow at the same time said to place them in the tank together so one doesnt get territorial,, and they all love each other,, they were babies when i got them and theyve grown alot,,, i was told the same thing but ive never had any trouble out of mine,, my mom did get 1 yellow and wanted another one so she bought one and it was very aggressive where the other one was already in there and they werent put in together at the same time so she gave him to my neice and we started her a big saltwater tank also... so as long as you add them at the same exact time you wont have any trouble at all,,, the clownfish are the same way... hope this helps you some ,, ive learnt through the years alot of things you have to figure out on your own in this hobby and anytime you add a new tankmate just keep a close eye on them and make sure there not picking on each other and they should be fine,, im no expert just my opinion and experience ive had with them... hope this helps and i wish ya the best of luck with the 55 gallon,, im so addicted id love to have a 125 gallon... i have 4 fish tanks now,, but would love to have a huge one too....lol... thanks for your comments !!!!!

oh really i dont know anything about shipping,, i started out with a tiny piece i bought from saltwaterfish and it just took right off,, i have a really good guy friend that first got me and my mom started in the saltwater business and i gave him my original piece i first bought and now he has it in his tank,,, we trade things all the time,, i love my xenia,,, i wanted to keep it full like that so i just got a 46 gallon bow front tank a few months back and put my mushrooms and green star polps and things like that over into it,, cause the xenia will overtake everything,,, so i just set up another tank to put my other items in,,, i had moved around some of the rock to try and open up some cleared out areas but within days it was covered too,,lol,,, i gave my mom a bunch of it no less than 2 weeks ago and it had already grew back too she loves it,, she said i want that all over my tank its beautiful,,,,lol,,,, she had some but hers never spreaded like mine but hers is starting to spread like crazy now too....thanks for the comment!!!

hey Seagoblin333,, when i first read this i thought what does this mean there yellow tangs that is there name,,,,,and then it finally dawned on me you want to know if we named the 2 yellow tangs also,,,lol,,,,,and yes they have names also,,,my 2 year old and 6 year old named them,,,, they are............are you ready???????????? Spongebob and Patrick....my littlest baby names everything,,, we just got a new edition to the 46 bow front we got a yellow kuda seahorse,,, ordered more but they were dead when they came and weve already named her "Precious".....shes just so tiny and petite ..........thanks for the comments ..........

You said that you ordered some seahorses. I am wanting to order a pair of seahorses. Where is the best place to order seahorses from. I am having a hard time finding a good place to order them from. Does anyone know the best and cheapest place to order from. Thanks!
