my temperature is a little wacky right now because i am still trying to adjust the heater, but it is about 80 degrees f . my lighting, im not sure exactly. i know i have 1 metal halide and 2 vho's i think. but not positive. how come you want to know my temperature?

as for the backround, i know i need a black backround, but is there any kind of like black paper or something i can put on it instead of painting it? i would paint it but its in a spot where i would have to move the whole tank just to get to it. thanx

Yes, I wanted to know becuase I keep on getting the bubble coral and yours is soo good and i try everything different placements temprature ligting i just upgraded and have 409 total watts.

i know everything looks much more brown and green in the pictures but i cant get the flash to turn off because its automatic. anybody know how? its a FujiFilm FinePix digital camera 2650 with optical zoom. 2 mega pixels. any help would be great

Check for any power save options on the camera and turn them off. Sometimes that can prevent a flash from working.

I would get rid of the mandrian and the yellow tang. Maybe its just me but the tank looks dark in those pics?

yeah it loks dark cause i cant get the flash to turn off. also, about the yellow tang and mandarin, i got the tank from a lady and she had all this fish in there for years. i didnt put them in there but im keeping them.
