My 12 gal. Aquapod was slowly falling apart so I got a 12 gal. Nano cube. When I switched them over I took as much coral as I could and put it in my 6 gal nano cube. It looked like this:
6 gal before:

6 gal after:

I tested my water yesterday (day 2) after the switch and levels are great, but my coral are still adjusting. Some of my mushrooms don't like where they are and they are s-l-o-w-l-y moving. It looks really wierd. Usually they just pop off.
I love my new tank.

And here is my 6 gal after I took most of the coral back out. I left a few branches with shrooms on them.

Some VERY nice Coraline!

Thanks, the tank they were in was set up for 3 years. I set my 6 gal up at the end of Feb and I already have coraline growing on the back wall!!
I have to scrape it off the glass too.

very nice, have you looked into the surface skimmers for the Nanocubes? They are awesome, water is soooo clear with it and no slime ontop of water.. IMO very well worth the $10 for one

I'm not sure what a surface skimmer is, but it did come with a little gadget that I'm sapose to put in front of something, but I didn't do it. I kinda looks like a plastic comb.

I don't know what it does. I guess I should read about it.

thanks.

and Yea, those are the things they sent with the tank, but I don't get what they do. How do they make a difference in anything?

Instanly removes surface scum.
Imporoves gas exchange.
Clarifies water.
Installs in seconds.
Quiet operation.

hmmm I'll put it on and see if it makes a diference, but I still don't get how it can do all those things. Some kind of magical plastic?
