Live rock doesn't get sick. what are your water parameters? No purple algae growth is just a sign of something else going on in your system like another algae out competing the purple coralline, your live rock is fine...

live rock is not actually alive. is has live organisms that live on it that make the rock "LIVE". so your rock cannot be sick, like errattiq said, it is something else...

What lighting are you using, and what is your water quality/calcium test results?

If your live rock was out of water for any decent amount of time, then some bleaching is to be expected. Its nothing to worry about.
