i am 2 hours NE of pittsburgh in punsutawney. i have the canon rebel XTi. i am buying the LR from a guy off this site and he said that he was shipping it in wet newspaper and that it would go through a short cycle that would probably only take a week or two yes? no?

Very nice! OMG, that is awesome you are from punsutawney. Isn't that like ground hog day or no...
Anyway, how did you get your pics so clear. I have a canon rebel as well, but seems like when I turn the flash off gets blurry. Are you using a tripod? I probably need to invest in one.

I would cycle the shipped rock anyway, (you'll have more die off than he says) just do it in a separate tub and you'll be fine.

yes, i agree. the temptation is not very high for the possible fact of a loss..i put off doing my 125DT for about a month, after finishing it, i said i will always do whats needed right then...it sucked waiting cause it only seems more troublesome when you finally do it. i highly recomend doing the change next availbe shot...rewards are alway great when you know your upgrading the tank.

i have order some more lr and it is going to have to go through a small cycle before i put it in the tank- so i thought instead of tearing it down and doing the cc and then tearing it down again to do the lr i though i might wait to do both at the same time. what do you think everything should be okay for a couple weeks right- the tank has been up and running for about 4 years now (got it from my brother)
