Wow! That is amazing! Can I ask exactly what bulbs you are using? I was going to get 4 T5 bulbs soon, I have a 72gal tank, 2 250w White and 2 Actanic Blue, will this provide similar results?

HEY SOMEONE ELSE FROM ANN ARBOR!!!!! I just moved from there, (graduated) i lived just off of campus at the corner of Church and Hill Street. I love the tank, hopefully something i can create in time. My tank is still in its infancy. (6 mo. old) What LFS do you use?

I love it! I bet the color is awesome in person. Also, that is some great looking rock and the design looks great. You obviously took a lot of care in picking out your rocks.

looking good, only question is high is that canopy? Are you having any heat issues having them so close?
What type of ballast are you using... HQI or standard?
Thanks for answering my questions :)
Looks great

Then i am sure you know my house . . . the gigantic PINK thing!! Anyway, i like fish doctors too. i also go to the one in canton as well. i just moved to northville so that ones a little closer. But i still work in ann arbor at the Hospital there. How long has your tank been up? Mine is pushing 6 months, but its getting there. I am testing the waters right now with sps corals. I think i may be psuhing the envelope with this, but so far so good. I would say lets trade some frags, but as of now i have nothing to offer you. Like i said, my tank is still developing and i only have six corals. What kind of setup are you using?

The lights are way beyond my expectations. They are great and I'll never use anything else. I did design the canopy a little short, 8", but with one fan blowling in on one side and one blowing out on the other I have no problems, yet. They are standard pfo (clone) ballasts. It is in the basement so that helps too, I'm sure. The setup is just modified berlin. 90 gal. 20 gal sump. nautilus skimmer. and about 140# lr. The rock is a wide variety. Tonga, fiji, marshall, and base. I've had the tank about 7 years. It was a softy and lps reef, then fowlr and now it has been sps for about 9 months. Thanks everyone. I've spent a lot of time and $$$ and it is finally at a place where I can just watch it grow!!!!!
