Pics of UV Sterilizer!

I just got a new uv sterilizer and I was woundering if some of you guys could post pics of how you have your sterilizer set up... mine is kind of "jerry rigged" right now..... i'm a neat freak and like things to look nice, so if anyone has any great set ups... lets see them!!

Can we have more info about your tank? Do you have a sump would be my main question? Since you asked, here is mine, I have a Mag 2.5 powering it from the return (next to a Mag 18), the water runs through the UV and then back to the skimmer section.

i have an 80 gal with a fluval 404 filter... i really want to stay away from attatching it to the filter because i don't want debris to flow through the steralizer... umm..have a hang on skimmer and thats about it... do you need to know anything else?

What is your stand like? Is there anywhere you could put the UV in the stand or under the tank at all? Its fine to have debris go through the UV, but its good that you have a separate pump for the UV as your main pump is likely too powerful, its best to have slow flow going through the UV for max contact time.

It looks like I'm going to have to purchase some more tubing and piping... when you guys use the PVC what do you use to glue them together??? I purchased a 100-200-gph pump... is that too much??

I have one side which is shelves and thats where I put my misc. fish stuff... and the onther side is open and I only have my filter, I do believe I can get it to fit in there some how.... pics to come when I figure it out :0)

cpvc cement is the glue that you would use... you can get the orange stuff or clear

just make shure it iss 100% dry before running any water through the piping.
