DVskin.Good job on the site.I'll definately keep checkin it.also the pvc in the upper right part of the tank.Is this return from the fuge and does this eliminate powerheads.Could you explain this for me.I would like to know more about this setup.Thanks Chris.:D

Per your question, with your type of lighting acropora's would be difficult to keep. They may survive but they won't thrive. SPS corals in general do best under MH lighting (that is why I just spent the money on a new fixture). I really wanted to keep acro's badly(under my compact fluorescent lights) and even tried to add some frags. When I first added them to my tank they did well, but then they just started to fade because they weren't getting the light they needed. Luckly they aren't completely goneyet and in the short amount of time I have had mt new fixture running it seems like they may actually perk back up!.
