so i was standing in front of my tank this evening and i couldnt get a steady close up pic, so i took 3 buckets; stacked 2 on top of eachother and put one on the floor in front of it. sat on the two that were stacked, and put the lense directly against the glass.......helped a bit. i only took a couple that way.
i also started using the manual settings on the camera and putting my eye directly in the viewfinder instead of using the lcd. all seemed to help but my closed eye started to hurt after a while.......
well now im just babbling. on to the pics
first is some zoos
second is my new bubble anemone
3rd is some cabbage attatched to som old candy cane skeleton, with some yellow stuff growing on it. what do you think it is?
fourth is a kenya frag from about 2 months ago
fifth is the bes pic i could get of these pale zoos. i think its one of the best pics i have taken to date.

next is some pics of fish. i havent been able to get good pics of my fish, so i was reading the manual and figured out how to make a pic from 1 frame of a video! i know its kinda cheating, but heck it worked.
first is a fish i got in september from a friend who works in a lab. he started out as smaller than a dime, and now he is big and fat. although i dont know what the heck he is. anyone have a guess?
second is my pygmy angel. this the first time i was able to get a pic of this guy, i was quite happy when it came out ok, even if i did do it using the video function.
third is the dude. all of the fish pics in this part of the thread were taken from video except the jawfish pic. he was just standing up looking over top of his home in a pretty neat way, so i took the pic, did a crop and a zoom, and it came out all right.
fourth is my hippo hes pretty cool
and fifth is my royal gramma, her mouth gets pretty big when she screams at the dude, but i havent been able to get a pic of that yet.

first is some gsp
second is some more gsp
third is a neat pic of one of my kenya frags and my orange zoos
fourth is a pic of some shrooms and my pygmy trying to avoid the camera. came out cool though

Nice! I like the cabbage. do you have a full tank shot?
lights have just shut off, maybe i will take one tommorrow. but maybe not, still dealing with a hair algae problem and its quite nasty. we will try one of those pics in the near future. sorry pal.

Very nice love your corals. The last pic of zoos is pretty neat and i like the color variations, why not mess with it a bit.
Cant wait to start my 90 gal, I want a pygmy and jawfish so much personality. Im also a fan of the blue tang. Had one like 10 years ago, would love to have another.
I will be waiting for the FTS. Hope the battle against the hair algae ends soon.

ok, so today i got rambunctuous and rearanged all my rocks. while i did this, i pulled out the rocks with hair algae on them and scrubbed most of it off. afterwards, i took a full tank shot for those who wanted to see one. there is a before picture that i found from about a month ago, ( before the hair algae outbreak), and then there is one from a little while ago. i kinda like the new setup. all of my corals still arent open fully, but it should look good when they do.

oh yeah, one of my 14k mh bulbs broke yesterday, so i had to put an old 20k in on the right side, thats why it looks so dark on half of the tank.
new one is coming shortly..
