I can see me transplanting that V-10 into my wife's 2800 lb Roadster.
Awe Inspiring!
We drove a couple new Z4s and liked the way they drove (more like a German BMW) but we just loved the Z3 style....reminds me of the old 40s. 50s and60s roadsters....and we couldn't quite swing the Z8s $$. Word was a year or so ago that a Z9 was in the works to replace the discontinued Z8. I would personally like to see the 850 supercars again, too.

No Z9, in the works, to my knowledge. With the redesign of the 3 Series, the release of the M5 and the soon to be release of M6, they've got their hands full.
My old dealership bought any Z8 they could find. The owner has 4 of them...2 standard and 2 Alpina. They buy them and turn around and sell them again.
The Z8 is still one of my fav. cars to drive and I regularly drove Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, etc. They're just too damned small, with the hardtop on them...they're not meant for tall guys, like myself.

I was the owners lackey, one day and had to drive him around, in his Z8 for the day. He didnt want to pay for parking...lol
I got stopped more times in that Black Z8 than I did in any Italian sports car I ever drove.

Oh...I meant stopped by people asking what kind of car it was...not by the cops. Although, there were a few times that I had cops pull up next to me and ask me about the car.

You don't know the meaning of excitement until you hear on the scanner that roadblocks are being set up for you. Thank God for gravel roads and wheat fields. I hid the car for 6 months after that incident.

Me, too.
Well, I grew up a little......I don't party or drink anymore, but I do like to drive a little faster than I should.

The sunshine and nice weather make up for it. Oh, and I never refer to my guns as toys. My kids have toys. I'm pretty passionate about firearm safety. There's an indoor range a few miles from me that I hear is pretty nice. I'll probably go check it out in a couple weeks. I miss being able to shoot whenever I want, but I wouldn't trade it for the weather, Disneyland, SeaWorld, beaches, etc., etc., etc.

This one is part of Zion NP, Utah. I can't remember the name of the canyon right now so if any of you recognize it please chime in.

The road to Denver is beautiful. I think this is somewhere near Vail....I really should label the pics before I forget what they are!
