I know you are joking, BUT I also know there will be some one thats hurt. Not intentually, but I'm sure they will hate the judges. Ha! Out of everyone that I listed as top 5, not one of them paid me.

Good luck to the finalist. I must say this is a very hard task.
There are so many very good entries and many deserve to win, but of course. there can only be one....My first attemp to pick out just 5 of my favorites ended up picking 15 entries..Then trying to narrow that down was difficult for me and Im sure the other judges as well.
Thanks to all that entered, its been fun seeing the pics as they can in, I wish I could say the same for being a judge. haha, acually it has and I want to thank Barry for allowing me to be one and for haveing this contest....
Now, Im off to pic a winna....good luck.

I agree. I have had a very hard time narrowing the list down. I've spent a great deal of time looking at the pics.

Oh, I had to do it.
I do want to start off by saying that this was a great thread. We met alot of new comers and it was very fun. The photographic skills and subjects of the pics. made this extremely hard.
I want to personally thank the other two judges; Dogstar and Alyssia. I will post the top 5 so you all know who they were. The winner please post your email so I can contact you to arrange the selection and shipment of your prize.
1st place goes to:
Cunningham post #114. The selling factor for me was the naturalistic look of the blenny looking out.

i was looking at the winning person's pic, i couldnt find the blenny to save my life, i litterly had to look at it 5 times carfully to see the blenny, how did u notice that?

Yes, our bi-color blenny is the best. My daughter named him "Frankenstein" and he is the cutest ever. We are so excited that you voted for our picture! Thank you so much again. We look forward to receiving our fragment... I'm sure we can find just the right spot for it. And yes, you are right, my husband has made lots of new "fish friends" within this message board. That was a great shot huh?! I noticed that the color was wrong in that spot. It was because the spot was a fish.

That was one of my favorites when I first saw it so early in the contest. The corals are so healthy and the fish just look so natural and happy in your system. I love the look of the black backgroud and how it just brings forward the livestock in a tank. Great camera work as well.

Plus...cant be much more of a new member to the site and still qualify.....
