Here are a few pictures of the female playing in her new home. The male is still timid about getting in but has been inching his way closure every day.
Thanks for the great idea Thomas..........

I imagine she was getting stung when she was first making contact with the BTA. The pair have been in the tank for almost 3 months and never took the time of day to consider hosting the BTA until I tried the picture method. The male has more black marks then the female and is still testing his limits with the BTA. Will the sting marks go away over time?

I just saw another thread complimenting the idea of the hang the pic theory. While I'm very thrilled for you, for those folks just reading this it's really isn't anything new, been around quite some time. Bang Guy was one of the earlier mods to mention it before I ever came to this board.
Strange how old idea's seem new, they tend to come back around like a sort of suprise thing that was hiding right under your nose all along.
BTW absolutly stunning anemone

I'm glad it seems to be working :jumping:
Now if it had only worked on the girls in high school that I used to date.

I used the pictures Thomas posted in the "Just Venting" post. I printed each picture, in color, twice and blastered each end of the tank. I had no pictures on the front because our BTA is mainly in the front. Before this our pair would hang in the back corners so I put them mainly in that area near both back corners. I also rotated the pictures and moved their location slightly after a couple days. After about a week, I noticed that it looked like they were trying to host the glass near one of the pictures. That night after lights out I removed the pictures and during the next day the female was in and out of the BTA. It took her about a day and a half to finally be happy and diving in and out. The male is still testing the BTA and has not completely took the dive.
I also would only feed near the BTA which may have also given them the idea that the BTA was a source of food.
Keep trying...........

I did this exact same thing. I got the feeding them close to the BTA idea from you and it worked great! Within 2 days of feeding them next to the BTA they were in it.
My clowns also were "hosting the glass"
THIS WORKS

Thanks Thomas...I just didnt know if they would tend to try to attack it...since there is another type of clown in the pics.

Well it's already couple of days that I put the pics up and I see the clowns getting close to them. My BTA is on the opposite side of where the clowns hang out. Should I bring the BTA closer to them where they can see it? :help: :help:

Then you should try to get a pic of maroon clown fish in a BTA anemone if that is what you have.

NO don't move the BTA it is, it is in it's "happy spot". When you feed the clowns feed them close to the BTA. That is what worked for me.
