Well, you know that old saying....great minds think alike! :D
I like how your canopy turned out, Cayman! My husband has been so busy at work that I just finished it myself. Not too bad for an English teacher, huh?! :joy:

Hey! I am a teacher too! And I am very jealous of your stand and canopy. I thought I did a good job on mine. Now that I have seen yours, It's back to the drawing board. My wife will hate you for this; I drive her crazy with my constant "engineering."

Thanks guys for all the compliments. :) We're having some issues with the doors, though. After my husband painted them they warped. He put them on anyway and they don't hang straight. Not only that, but when he was putting the trim on the them, he accidentally nailed one of them to the kitchen counter. Oops! He'll be making another set in the future, but for now they serve their purpose.
Hey Andretti---when's your spring break?! Ours just ended and I have to go back to work tomorrow! :scared:

So sorry to hear that Dory because right now I'm in the beginning of mine. We get two weeks off this year! We voted to add a few days here and there to supplement the time so we could have two weeks off like most of the other districts in southern California! (I know I'm hijacking, but I'm a teacher...I'm allowed to...I deserve it. I teach high school and don't get hazardous duty pay or combat pay! (southern California schools). The only thing I have to say Dory is that your husband gave me inspiration for my new stand & canopy (this will be the third one!) Someday I might be satisfied W/my tanks, but I doubt it. This hobby is just too addicting, too much fun, too much everything...especially TOO EXPENSIVE! I will be sure to include your husband in my "works cited" page. (ha, ha) BTW, I love your tank.

Thanks again everyone for all your compliments! :D
Here's a picture with the doors open. My wet/dry/skimmer/sump is located on the left side and all my "junk" is on the right.

Wow, i'm up extremely early this morning. Thanks for adding the picture for me. That's a pretty clean setup down under. i'm still trying to get an idea of what all i need and how much space it's going to take up.
Hope the new set of doors works out for you. Kevin
