Here are some pictures I took tonight after borrowing a digital camera. If you don't like anything, tell me.

Not the best picture, but these are my two favorite inhabitants of the tank. The lion will shoot up water at me until I feed him. It took me three months, but he's now completely weened on frozen shrimp.

It's crushed coral. I wish I would've done sand, but it seems to be working fine. I'm good friends with the guy at the LFS, and that's what he told me to use.

Hello Mossad. Looks very nice. I'm going to have to borrow a digital camara and post some updated pics. I have the same size tank but the only thing that I'm worried about is your mandarin. Do you have a refugium? Even with over 65lbs of lr in my tank and a deep sand bed my pod population has been decimated. If I were you I would take your lfs emloyee's advice like a grain of salt. Always remember that it is a business to them. Advise on this board is free and nothing is asked for return. There are always differing opinions but the one's based on research and experience are worth more than any lfs employee. As far as your coral that split, I have a bunch of shrooms and those guys are always spreading out. They are one of the easiest corals to keep. Good luck with your mandarin and try to set up a refugium or buy some more lr if you can to help keep it alive.

Before I bought the mandarin I made sure he ate frozen food. He always goes for the brine and mysid shrimp that I put in. The only reason I actually do take the LFS advice is because I'm good friends with the fish guy there. He hasn't given me the best advice each time, but it wasn't because he was just trying to sell me something, it was because that was his opinion on it. Now I get his opinion and also see what people on the board think.

Old Yeller -
The hair algae problem is actually only present on two pieces of rock. As you can see on the full tank shot, it's not a problem as far as the whole tank is concerned. Would that still mean I have too much nutrient in there? I ran a phosphate sponge for a few days about two weeks ago, but it didn't do anything to get rid of that hair algae. As such, since it's only those two rocks, I just pull it off every few days. Thanks for the comments from everybody.

Is that Lion fish a dwarf? I have aways read that they will eat anything that they can fit in thier mouth. SO watch him! Tank looks good. Keep it up!

I personally think your tank could use a little bit more color.........but your fish look great!!! I love mandarins.......they are so colorful.
Has your lion posed any problems so far? I was looking into one but I heard they are messy eaters.
Great tank though...........how big is it?

DINHOUSE - Yeah, that's a dwarf. I've only had one problem with him and that was when he went crazy while I was cleaning the tank one day and ate one of my chromis. The good thing about it was I actually was going to downsize my fish number that weekend and that did the job for me without me having to mess up the whole tank. Other than that once, he's completely fine. He lets the cleaner shrimp come right up to him, and he doesn't do anything. I successfully got him to eat frozen food - he follows me wherever I go by the tank.
Travis - That's a blue-sided fairy wrasse. What would you recommend in terms of adding color? I'm definitely at my fish limit, but is there anything you know of that would look good coral/invertebrate wise that can be fine under low lighting? Looking at the picture again, my tank's actually a little more colorful than the picture shows, but it could still use some extra color.
OYT - I'll check my alkinity this weekend when I go to the LFS. I have one emerald, but he keeps to the opposite side of the tank where the algae isn't. I have a ton of snails, and they make sure that my glass stays clean, but I have yet to see them touch any of the hair algae. Are there even any snails that will eat hair algae?
Thanks for the comments everybody.
